In the RTI, when will you get 15 lakh rupees in the account? PMO gave answer


NEW DELHI: The Prime Minister’s Office, responding to the question regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promise of putting 15-15 lakh rupees in the accounts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign, said that it is not under RTI. Under RTI, information was sought to be made that when Rs 15 lakhs would be made in the account.

The PMO informed the Central Information Commission (CIC) that there is no such notification under the RTI Act, so that information can not be given or answered in this matter.

The petitioner Mohan Kumar asked for this information from the PMO after eighteen days of non-registration. In which question was asked, when will each person’s account go to 15 lakh rupees? The whole case did not reach the notice of the Central Information Commission.
